Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Acquirely collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit acquirely.io, use app.acquirely.io, or otherwise interact with our services.
1. Introduction
Acquirely ("Acquirely," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Acquirely marketing website at acquirely.io and the Acquirely product application at app.acquirely.io. Our platform helps business teams manage replies to outbound email campaigns using AI-assisted drafting, inbox connections, and workflow automation.
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to our marketing site, account holders, and authorized users of customer workspaces. It does not apply to third-party websites, sending platforms, or services you connect to Acquirely, which are governed by their own privacy policies.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@acquirely.io.
2. Scope and roles
Depending on how you interact with Acquirely, we may act as a data controller or a data processor:
- Marketing visitors: When you browse acquirely.io, book a call, or contact us, we generally act as a controller of the personal information we collect for our own business purposes.
- Product customers: When you create a workspace and connect inboxes or other data sources, we process Customer Content on your instructions to deliver the service. For business customers subject to GDPR or similar laws, we typically act as a processor for Customer Content and as a controller for account, billing, and security data needed to operate the platform.
Where required, we offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for B2B customers. To request one, email security@acquirely.io.
3. Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account and profile data: Name, email address, company name, password or authentication credentials, workspace settings, and role assignments.
- Billing data: Subscription plan, payment status, billing address, and transaction records. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by us in full.
- Customer Content: Email threads, replies, prompts, training materials, contact records, calendar events, and configuration data you submit or connect through the product.
- Usage and technical data: Log data, IP address, browser type, device information, feature usage, credit consumption, error reports, and performance metrics.
- Communications: Messages you send to support, sales, or legal teams, and records of appointments you schedule with us.
- Cookies and similar technologies: On the marketing site, we may use cookies or privacy-friendly analytics to understand traffic and improve the site. See Section 9 for details.
We collect most information directly from you or your authorized users. We also receive information from integrated third-party services you connect, such as email platforms and calendar providers.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the services you request.
- Generate AI-assisted reply drafts and run automations according to your workspace configuration.
- Process subscriptions, send transactional messages, and provide customer support.
- Secure our platform, detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage to improve product performance and user experience.
- Send marketing communications where permitted by law and your preferences. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Where required by law, we rely on appropriate legal bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests (for example, security and product improvement), compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is required.
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers: Vendors that help us host infrastructure, process payments, deliver email, provide analytics, operate support tools, and run AI inference. These providers are authorized to process information only as needed to perform services for us.
- Integrations you enable: When you connect third-party sending platforms, inboxes, calendars, or BYOK AI providers, data flows according to your configuration and those providers' terms.
- Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- Legal and safety: We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or respond to valid legal process.
A current list of subprocessors used to deliver the product is available on request by emailing security@acquirely.io. We will provide notice of material subprocessor changes where required by contract or law.
6. International transfers
Acquirely is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or equivalent mechanisms recognized under UK and other applicable laws.
7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Customer Content is retained while your workspace is active and for a limited period afterward to support export, backup integrity, and legal requirements. You may delete certain content through product controls where available. If you close your account, we will delete or de-identify information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business needs such as billing records and security logs.
8. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted transport (TLS), and infrastructure providers selected for operational reliability. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
For a high-level overview of our security practices, see our Security & trust page.
9. Cookies and analytics
On acquirely.io, we may use cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences and understand how visitors use the site. Where configured, we may use privacy-oriented analytics that do not rely on invasive cross-site tracking.
In the product application, we use cookies and local storage primarily for authentication, session management, and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy of information you provided.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland: You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact privacy@acquirely.io. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
United States state privacy laws: Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights, including the right to know categories of information collected, request deletion, and opt out of certain sharing for targeted advertising where applicable. Acquirely does not sell personal information as defined by applicable state laws.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. If you are a user of a customer workspace, please contact your workspace administrator first for requests related to Customer Content processed on their behalf.
11. Children
Acquirely is a business service not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact privacy@acquirely.io and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of the services after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
